Guest Services
Parking Team
This team will be stationed in all parking lots and will be the first point of contact for all Sunday visitors; offering a smiling face and any necessary information.
Greeter Team
This team will be stationed both outside the facility and sanctuary doors; opening doors with a smile and handing out bulletins and answering any questions guest might have.
Coffee Team
This team will be stationed behind the coffee counter. They will interact with individuals as they come to get their coffee and will offer a warm greeting and answer any necessary questions.
Information Center Team
This team will be stationed at the Information Center counter and will be available to answer questions, assist guests in finding out more information about things going on at Mt. Gilead, get signed up, etc.

Preschool
Worship Leader
A worship leader helps create environments for preschoolers that allows them to encounter the presence of God and praise Him through song.
- Responsible for learning motions to songs for worship
- Demonstrate to preschoolers what it looks like to praise Jesus
- Provide energy to encourage preschoolers to join in worship
Small Group Leader
A small group leader leads a group of preschoolers in a small group of activities and conversations.
- Responsible facilitating small group activities and conversations, according to the materials given
- Make small groups a safe, fun environment for preschoolers to feel cared for, respected and loved
- Works with other small group leaders within the classroom to care for and minister to preschoolers on a personal level
Small Group Trainer
A small group trainer is a coach and mentor for the small group leaders, so that they are able to connect with preschoolers on a personal level.
- Responsible for training small group leaders to be equipped for their weekly responsibilities
- Works with the children’s minister in caring for and ministering to small group leaders
- Works with small group leaders on a personal level to encourage, provide advice and answer questions within ministry and their personal walk
Host
The host keeps the flow of the program going while sharing and applying scripture and other acts of worship.
- Responsible for going over the memory verse with the children
- In charge of making announcements, dismissing groups, and transitioning between pieces
- Lead children through acts of worship like generosity
Service Project Coordinator
The project coordinator will find and provide opportunities for preschoolers to serve their church or community.
- Responsible for finding and organizing service opportunities for preschoolers
- Work with the children’s minister to come up with service opportunities that fit the vision of the ministry and teach the preschoolers the importance of service, while being age appropriate
- Oversee preschoolers serving in different areas and make sure that small group leaders are communicated to well
Project Prep
Project prep works with the project coordinator to make sure that all materials, supplies and prep work are completed in order for preschoolers to complete the project.
- Responsible for making sure materials are gathered in order for preschoolers to do the project
- Make sure any work that needs to be prepped ahead of time is done
- Communicate with project coordinator and children’s minister to make sure all needs are taken care of
Welcome Center
The welcome center helps families feel welcomed and helps them find where they are going to be able to connect with others in the same area.
- Responsible for making sure families check in their preschoolers before taking them to class
- Create a welcoming environment that is informative and makes families, especially preschoolers, feel excited and comfortable
- Provide answers for parent’s questions when arriving and making sure new preschoolers are taken where they need to be and introduced to the small group leaders
Creative Director
The creative director helps create engaging environments for preschoolers to connect with others and study scripture in their weekly environments.
- Responsible for creative elements in the weekly environments and special events within the preschool ministry through classroom and hallway settings
- Communicates with children’s minister about upcoming themes and events
- Recruits team of people in the creative process to put ideas into action
Teacher
The teacher is responsible for leading students through biblical teaching
- Responsible for teaching the weekly curriculum in a way that is fun, informative and engaging to preschoolers
- Work with students to help them be continuously grow in their faith, answer questions and teach them about God’s word
- Work with creative director in using the curriculum and teaching methods
Kids (Grades K-5)
Worship Leader
The motion leader helps create environments for children that allows them to encounter the presence of God and praise Him through song.
● Responsible for learning motions to songs for worship
● Communicates with the children’s minister about new additions and songs through
providing input
● Demonstrate to children what it looks like to give Him songs of praise
Welcome Center

Visual Tech
The visual tech is responsible for the visual features that create environments for children to encounter the presence of God.
● Responsible for managing the lights during teaching and worship times
● Communicate with the teacher, host and worship leader in facilitating worship from a visual standpoint.
● Make sure worship and teaching slides are on the screens for worship and teaching time
Audio Tech
The audio tech is responsible for the sound control within children’s worship to allow children to give God praise through song.
● Responsible for managing all microphones being used and keeping them at appropriate volume levels
● Communicate with the teacher, host and worship leader in facilitating worship from an audio standpoint
● Make sure to adjust sound equipment according to the need for worship and teaching
Powerzone Host
The host keeps the flow of the program going while sharing and applying scripture and other acts of worship

The Food Team feeds children at Youth Group for Kids on a weekly basis.
● Responsible for organizing menu, shopping, and prep of food for children
● Work with children’s minister to provide food to meet the needs of children
● Works with food team in scheduling weekly tasks such as shopping, preparing and serving
Teacher
The teacher is responsible for leading students through biblical teaching in a class and group environment
● Responsible for teaching the weekly curriculum in a way that is fun, informative and engaging to children
● Work with children to help them be continuously grow in their faith, answer questions and teach them about God’s word
● Work with creative director in using the curriculum and teaching methods
Creative Team

● Responsible for creative elements in the weekly environments and special events within the children’s ministry through PowerZone design, classrooms and hallway settings
● Communicates with children’s minister about upcoming themes and events, such as VBS
● Recruits team of people in the creative process to put ideas into action
Project Prep
Project prep works with the project coordinator to make sure that all materials, supplies and prep work are completed in order for kids to complete the project.

Students (Grades 6-12)
Song Leader
The song leader helps to facilitate worship for students in a way that allows them to sing praises and participate in worship activities.
● Responsible for leading songs of worships for students
● Practices and works with worship team to prepare worship for students
● Assists worship coordinator in planning/organizing worship team and activities
Worship/Band Coordinator
The worship coordinator oversees and organizes the worship team and song leaders to help provide worship for students
● Responsible for organizing worship team practice and worship schedules
● Consults with Student Minister about upcoming worship needs
● Facilitates the development of the worship team including songs, practices, and new additions.
Audio Tech
The audio tech is responsible for the sound control during student worship and teaching.
● Responsible for managing all mics being used and keeping them at the appropriate volume
● Works with with coordinator and team in facilitating worship from a technical standpoint
● Responsible for making sure all sound equipment is working properly, and adjusting it as needed for the worship and teaching
Small Group Leader
The small group leader leads a group of male or female students in small group discussions and
conversations
● Responsible for facilitating conversation amongst group members, according to our weekly topics
● Works with Student Minister in caring for and ministering to students on a personal level
● Makes small groups a safe, fun environment for students to feel cared for, respected, and loved
Small Group Prep
The small group prep is preparing all small group material for the small group leaders and students each week.
● Responsible for organizing series, and weekly materials for small group activities.
● Works with Student Minister and Small Group Trainer to meet the needs of the small groups
● Prepares weekly supplies and small group materials for leaders and students
Food Team Member
The food team members work together to provide students with weekly food and a great environment
● Responsible for shopping for weekly food items
● Responsible for preparing and serving food to students on Sunday evenings
● Works with food coordinator in providing great food and a wonderful experience for students
Teacher
The teacher will be leading students through biblical teaching and lessons from curriculum
● Responsible for teaching the weekly curriculum in a way that is fun, informative, and engaging to students
● Responsible for working with the creative director in using the curriculum and teaching methods
● Will work with students to help them be continuously growing their faith, by answering questions and teaching them about God’s word.
Visual Tech
The visual tech is responsible for the visual features that take place during student worship and teaching
● Responsible for managing the lights during worship and teaching times
● Works with with coordinator and team in facilitating worship from a visual standpoint
● Responsible for making sure worship and teaching slides are on the screens for worship and teaching times.
Producer
The producer helps to manage all things on stage in order to provide the best worship and overall experience for students.
● Works closely with worship coordinator in stage decorations, set up, and worship production
● Is responsible for the theme of the series being conveyed through our stage environment and worship
● Creates a stage environment/production that is fun and intentional for students through worship and teaching
Small Group Trainer
The small group trainer is a coach and mentor for the small group leaders, so that they can engage with students in the most effective way possible.
● Responsible for training small group leaders in weekly responsibilities
● Works with Student Minister in caring for and ministering to small group leaders
● Works with Small Group leaders to answer questions, provide coaching and advice, and encourage them
Food Coordinator
The food coordinator provides leadership and direction for the food team, in order to feed students on a weekly basis
● Responsible for organizing menu, shopping, and prep of food for students
● Works with Student Minister in providing food to meet students needs and provide a great environment for students
● Works with food team in scheduling weekly tasks (Shopping, Preparation, and Serving) in order to provide food for the students
Welcome Team
The welcome team helps students to feel welcomed, and make sure new students are cared for and get plugged in.
● Responsible for making sure students check in before sunday activities.
● Create a welcoming environment that is informative and makes students feel excited and comfortable as they arrive
● Responsible for answering students questions upon arrival and getting new students where they need to be and introduced to a leader
Creative Team
The creative teams helps create engaging environments for students to connect with others and study scripture in their weekly environments.
● Responsible for creative elements in the weekly environments and special events
● Communicates with Student Minister about upcoming themes and events, such as Mania or Camp
● Recruits team of people in the creative process to put ideas into action
Video Team
The Video will be filming, editing, and creating content for students and the student ministry as a whole
● Responsible for filming and editing any teaching or youtube videos for the student ministry
● Responsible for working with the creative director and student minister on the creation of video content and the goals and needs of video content.
● Use their creativity to film unique and exciting content to engage students and families.
Service Project Coordinator
The project coordinator will find and provide opportunities for students to serve their church or community.
● Responsible for finding and organizing service opportunities for students
● Working with the student minister to come up with service opportunities that fit the vision of the ministry and teach students the importance of serving
● Responsible for overseeing students serving in different areas

Worship Music Team
Instrument
Serving on a worship team is a great opportunity to honor God and help other people pursue God. We are a team of musicians, vocalists, technical volunteers, and worshipers in every sense, and we exist to create an environment that is a catalyst for heart change, and to explore ways in which God can move us to be closer to Him through worship.
Vocals

Worship Production Team

Level 1 Positions
If you're interested in all things technology, you might be a great for our Production Team!
Lighting Operator
- Must be able to operate all equipment including programming and live applications. Training will be provided.
- Must be a high-capacity volunteer who is comfortable working independently and without the aid of supervision during services.
- Must be able to attend mid-week rehearsals as this is key to learning a new system in a new environment.
Camera Operator
- Must be able to operate all equipment including programming and live applications. Training will be provided
- Must be a high-capacity volunteer who is comfortable working independently and without the aid of supervision during services.
- Must be willing to learn and research what other churches are doing and how to best utilize the equipment in our environment.
Level 2 Positions
These positions are considered advanced and require a high level of training and care.
Computer Operator
- Must be proficient in operating a Mac computer and can perform the tasks necessary in a fast-paced, highly complex setting.
- Must be able to operate ProPresenter and follow along with the order of service. Training will be provided.
- Must be a high-capacity volunteer who is comfortable working independently and without the aid of supervision during services.
- Must be able to attend mid-week rehearsals as this is key to learning a new system in a new environment.
Sound Engineer
- Must have prior experience in running sound for a large church or concert environment.
- Must be knowledgeable of how to mix sound and is capable of learning our system and all its components.
- Must be able to follow direction from the Lead Sound Engineer and Worship Minister.
- Must be able to attend mid-week rehearsals.
- This is not an area for someone who only wants to dictate what they feel it should sound like but is able to meet the requirements of the Lead Sound Engineer and Worship Minister.
Service Producer
- Works with the Worship Minister to coordinate the services from start to finish and is in charge of making sure all positions are functioning and supported.
- Is available for any sound or tech issues if they should arise during services.
- Communicates with all staff on their role and assists all staff associated with Sunday services.
- Is available to assist the Senior Minister, Guest Speaker, Worship Minister and Host before, during and after service when needed.
- Ensures the quality of our service meets the standards set by the Worship Minister and the steering team.
Video Producer/Director
- Must be able to operate all equipment including programming and live applications. Training will be provided
- Must be willing to learn and research what other churches are doing and how to best utilize the equipment in our environment.
- Must be able to determine which camera shots are needed and call out directions using our Communication System.
Facilities Team
Operations Team
The Operations Team is quietly working behind the scenes maintaining a safe and clean environment for all the ministry activities taking place. We have serving opportunities inside the building and in the great outdoors maintaining the property.
Mowing Crew
Did you know volunteers mow and trim all the grass on our property? If you'd like to be part of the mowing crew, we have plenty of mowers and plenty of grass to cut.
Special Projects
Throughout the course of a year we have many special one-time projects. For example, our playground was installed by a group of volunteers. Let us know if you want to be contacted for special projects.
