Mom's Activity Group

This group, for Moms with children still at home, meets the 1st Thursday of every month in the Mt Gilead gym from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for special speakers, fellowship, and dinner.

Milestones The journey to becoming lifelong disciples of Jesus.
Baby Dedication Newborn-12 Months & Families An opportunity for parents to dedicate their babies and make raising them in the Lord a priority.
Kindergarten Kick-Up Ages 5-6 in Kindergarten An intentional event designed to mark the beginning of elementary in a child's life.

Kids Baptism Class Ages 8 and older A class designed for kids and parents that teaches kids about baptism and offers resources for families.
Middle School Retreat 6th Grade-8th Grade An annual retreat designed to help students own their faith at a critical time in their lives.
Senior Blessing An senior student event to honor graduates and provide parents an opportunity to bless their child.

College Scholarship

The intent of this scholarship fund is to help and encourage members of the Church at Mt. Gilead as they enter into a Christian Church/Church of Christ Bible College or Seminary to prepare for the preaching of the gospel and/or other church-related ministries.

Scholarship Fund Purpose:
The intent of this scholarship fund is to help and encourage members of the Church at Mt. Gilead as they enter into a Christian Church/Church of Christ Bible College or Seminary to prepare for the preaching of the gospel and/or other church-related ministries. Download a list of Christian Church/Church of Christ Bible Colleges. If you have questions, regarding which colleges are on this list, please check with the Adult Ministry team.

Scholarship Fund Grant:
The amount of scholarship funding per student is as follows:

Freshman and Sophomore Year: $500 per semester
Junior and Senior Year: $1000 per semester

This scholarship program is designed for students enrolled in classes full-time and who are attending the Fall 2020 Semester, Spring 2020 Semester, or both. This is applicable toward the student’s cost of tuition and will be sent directly to the Bible College on their behalf. Applications due by June 30.
